Low riding clips

Chris Reeve Mnandi...

low riding, and differently styled clip, I've had it mistaken for a pen when clipped to the breast pocket of my shirt, or the inside pocket of my jacket...

I was just about to suggest the same thing. If you want a low riding clip, you can't beat Spyderco's Meerkat. It's a slick little knife with a wire clip that literally rides flush with your pocket, and doesn't stick out at all.

The Meerkats have been discontinued, but you can easily find them on eBay for around $20 (plus S&H).

My thing is I like low riding clips because you don't hardley notice them nor do they bother you much. The flip side is they are a bit harder to pull out. I wear them on the right hip. I've got a Gerber that rides flush but is a bit of an excersise to get out.

My AXIS 806 rides really low (a little less than 0.5" sticking out) with the clip in tip-down position. In tip-up position, it's ~0.75". Tip-down carry all but disappears IWB
