REALLY low serial number original (O.G.
) Ultratech. Born 11/2006 with serial number 00430! Handles are black anodized aluminum with old three-hole/flat satin finished screws and button. Pocket clip shows just a bit of wear on corners. Blade is a double-edge and really isn't one of the modern finishes. It is between polished and satin - but is neither. Grain of the steel is visible. Blade steel is not marked on the knife anywhere - this was apprently before they did that. Edges are perfect and tip is needle sharp. Currently available Ultratechs are showing serial numbers nearing 100,000... This is a really, really early Ultratech in EXCELLENT condition. I just got this Ultratech back from Microtech to replace a lost screw - they also performed a "spa treatment" service on it - touching up the edge and cleaning/oiling the internals. Will ship with Microtech box, paperwork/invoice from recent service (indicating serial number and authenticity) and old style microfiber bag with attached cleaning cloth inside.
