Lowell Mandelblatt, or a person posing as him, gave Mike Irie a bad credit card and a phone number for a fax, address is also in question...Mike is understandably upset, this is from the recent NY Show, and he now has a very nice Sport #700 with excellent stag handles!

Any info is appreciated...I did a search but didn't pull up his name here...:(

Gary I found 2 in North Brunswick NJ 1 in Manmouth Junction NJ and 1 in Closter NJ. Hope this is something for you! Mike
 
Thanks Mike, I hope that it was just a mistake and the guy wasn't out to really take Mike Irie on that knife, things do and can happen, I'll pass along that info to Mike Irie and let him try to follow through...

Great News to pass along, got a call from Mike Irie today and he was pleasantly surprised to find a package arrived on his doorstep, the very knife that he had sold to Lowell Mandelblatt at the NY show! It arrived with no notice or any explanation, but Mike is very happy as there is a show coming up in the near future that he can sell that one to. Knife is in MINT condition, basically how it was sold.

So thanks to Mr. Mandelblatt for his integrity in returning the knife to Mike, you've made his Christmas a better season to rejoice!

WOW!!! Thats hard to believe...........

Ken Onion thought one of his knives walked off in Vegas last year, and about a month later a BANK DRAFT was mailed to him with no return addy. Go figure!! :confused:
 
Did someone actually call all the "Lowell Mandelblatts" in the area inquiring about the knife? At least it had a happy ending. BTW, do any of these knife show venues take surveillance video? Just wondering.

Rev, don't think anyone called anyone, incase it was even a stolen card, you never can tell, as to surveillance video, that'd be a good idea, we could then maybe sell them to the wives or blackmail some husbands about their purchases...hehe ;)
