What can anyone tell me about this maker. I've picked up a folder by him that should arrive next week. This folder is called a Cinco Grande. Big heavy folder that looks to be right down my alley!
 
I once owned one and got it from Loyd's table in NY. Heavy duty, yes! Very nice man - been in the knife game a long time.
 
Been around a long time. Tends towards unique styling in handles, as you can see. Mid level prices, not one of the super hot makers, not at any given point, but was always steady out of the gate, and I would have no problem owning some of his work, it's very good.
