LS 2 Steel

Mete or Kevin I have searched around and cannot find anything on the make up of LS2. Is it anygood for knife steel or just another pile of scrap.

I have no idea. If I did it often I'd become a member at www.key-to-steel.com They have chemistry and other info about thousands of steels from many countries.

OK thanks mete. Just had a friend at a machine shop offer me a bunch but he doesn't know the chemistry either, but he is checking .
