Slight patina, but appears to have only light use and a great edge. I just stropped it. Sheath had a smoke smell when I got it, which is mostly gone and replaced by Obenauf’s after airing out, ionizing, using a leather shampoo, wet forming, and then waterproofing. I would have no problem keeping it now (and I loathe cigarette smoking as it killed two grandparents) if I didn’t need the money and already have too many knives (if there’s actually such a thing lol). Just wanna be up front though, it wasn’t a great surprise for me. I really don’t think the smell’s going to bother you now, but if it does, you can always send it back for a full refund minus shipping costs. $190 PPFF shipped in the CONUS.
