Lube

Try Go-Juice for the pivot that stuff is for firearm's and is really slippery and I found anything more slippery then it and I could feel the difference when I first started using it on flippers, you only need one drop from a micro oiler bottle 2 max,it's made from plant based oil's the inventor say's he tried petrol but plant based oil's from what he found are more slippery.

For blades like M4 and Maxamet I used to use frog lube but found if I used it on the pivot it made my knifes really sticky so switched to Renaissance Wax and it's been great for protecting the blade and it couldn't be easier to use I just wipe it on wait about 1 minute or so polish with a dry rag and I wait a bit like and hour and repeat that way it gives the wax a chance to set up.

Renaissance Wax was developed for use in Museum's and for protecting everything from leather other metals and much more,I also removed it one time to see if I could and I just used contact cement remover and I could see it come right off.

I agree GatorFlash1.
I got the WD-40 Corrosion Inhibitor for my guns, and wouldn't hesitate to use it on my knives.

Tri Flow Teflon Lube
is the best I ever used. I have tried many of the listed ones.

Try searching the forum next time.
