Just got this beauty in earlier this week and wanted to show it off a little bit. Really lucked out and was able to get a Pretium and I couldn't be more happier with it. I like how they take the time and number each knife individually. It feels great in the hand and just has a real clean look to it. The customer service that Mark from Ferrum Forge gave to me was nothing but amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next run will look like.

Haha...love the shot with the dog. Can't wait for mine, but it'll probably be over a month until he gets in the 70s. Grats on an early number...I think a lot of people will regret not getting in on them. I wonder what Jim Skelton's will look like...
 
Such an amazing knife, I have Number 4 and received mine last week as well.

The customer service from both Elliot and Mark was outstanding and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

It is by far one of my fav Custom Knives I own and it knocks a lot of other knives out of my pocket.

Thanks. Otis was pretty interested in the knife that day too. Dad was happy, so the pup was happy.
 
This is my first custom knife. Im also waiting on a John Gray G3. That should arrive in the next couple weeks. But I can't say one bad thing about Ferrum Forge or their product.
 
Awesome, Congrats! I Can't wait for mine (58, woot)... it'll be my first custom as well, and honestly it may be my last. Elliot and Mark have been fantastic with their communication, and have been great with accommodating my requests.

You should post more pics! :)

I have a good amount of MidTechs/Customs and love every single one, my Knives are like my kids lol.

But Elliot's work is truly amazing and for the price he charged its absolutely a killer knife hands down.

I can't wait to see what the next run looks like, and ill be one of the first on his Pre-order book.
 
I'm #95 so I imagine I have a few months longer wait. I'm glad that you guys like your Pretiums. I shake waiting for mine every day! I have some custom ideas that I think Elliot is perfect for, plus I think I want to get in on some SM100 so I'm hoping I have something sweet to show you guys soon. Thanks for the pictures guys!
 
I guess I'll share my story too. I received mine on Saturday. #27. Was very disappointed. First off, the detent had so much play in it I could move the blade while in the closed position. Secondly, it has a sticky lock. Almost have to wedge something in it to unlock it. I'm also quite bummed at the fit and finish also. I will be returning it. Glad you guys have better reviews.
 
Very interesting! As the current owner of Pretium #27, I must say she operates like a dream. I'm curious to know the full story, but I'm guessing it was run through it's proper paces and no longer has any of the issues zImsKee described.
