I looked real hard at that GR myself. Unfortunately, it would've come out of funds earmarked for Satori's Everest Katana w/ Decorative Scabbard, which I've already blown several times on other (HI) things.

Order placed this afternoon for the EK, by the way. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Buy that Ganga Ram, DIJ. It is your destiny. Big khuks are teh uber.

It looks more like the original than many of the renditions I've seen of it!
I really like the way the antler handle turns down at the end!!!!

Yvsa, I lucked out, hadn't lost my shark skills. YES, the antler handle curve is fantastic. Fastest I have ever received a pkg, mailed on Sat , received today on Monday.

Handle well made, fits my hand like a glove. Blade was pretty sharp, slight nick or burr on the edge. Took it off with a ceramic stick. Sheath red, not up to par with my other Sarge sheath. Leather was not as thick, especially on the retaining strap. I'm DEFINITELY not complaining for $45...I was lucky , I was able to switch sheaths. Nice EDC , without alarming people.

I'm retiring from sharking!! As Uncle says, I have more inventory than he does. Got to kick the habit somehow.

I also received the Sgt Karka WW II today that Jayce so gracefully let me have from the DOTD on the 28th. First velvet scabbard I have gotten. Really pretty for a wall hanger which is what I wanted it for. Way too many of mine are put away where they can't be seen.

But I bet you don't retire from sharking. I thought I was pretty much done with it too but every once in a while one will come along that brings out all the old fish in me, trouble is I'm not as fast as I used too be. :grumpy:
