The 14OT knife arrived, and as I was afraid, it was indeed a mislisted 13OT. The seller has been very cooperative and we have worked out a compromise that will be fair to us both. I have offered the unneeded 13OT to another forumite.

Remember the "1969-70 Recon Marine Vietnam 171UH"? I bought it cheap. The knife, not the story. We will see on it what a Schrademeister can do restoration wise to the finish. He will be asked for before and after pics to post and describe the process he used. Should make a good show and tell for refinishing questions. He earned this honor by goading me into bidding on it. His revenge, I think for my goading him into the glow-in-the-dark Sharpfinger that he uses for a hallway nightlight. :D
