I'm selling my Luke Shearer birchbark handled puukko because it gets no use. I am the original owner. It has been a total safe queen, never used, carried, sharpened, etc. Very well built with forged 1095 flat ground blade with forge marks.
The stick tang goes through the brass endcap and is peened over. Birchbark handled (an excellent grip even when wet). The sheath (also made by Luke) is very thick leather dipped in beeswax and has lovely scrollwork added to it and a copper ring for attaching to your belt. Rustic and sturdy, this is a fine example of Nordic influence.
7 1/4" OAL, 3" blade.
