Lum Chinese Folder

I'm looking for a knife that is in design similar to the Lum Chinese Folder. I really like the looks of the Chinese Folder, but I want to find a cheaper alternative. I like the big, wide blade compared to the curved, thin handle.

Stuff I've Seen:
- BM Dejavoo (Lum designed too): Still kinda pricey.
- Kabar Fin: This looks really similar to the Chinese Folder, but I've never heard anything good about this knife.

Anybody have a nice knife that looks like the Chinese Folder?
 
ive admittadley never handled a fin but ive heard alo of negative reviews and no positive ones.

on the other hand the benchmade dejavoo has almost entirley good reviews ive been meaning to acquire on for quite some time and i hav eno problem recomending it even though i hav enever handled it. just afew pics of it and im sure yo as well will be convinced.

There is no knife quite like it. I recommend just saving up and getting one.

The closest thing I can think of at a more affordable price is a Boker trance. Sort of has the lower tip than handle thing going. It is a great knife by itself. Flat grind. Frame lock/about the thickness of the liner lock on the lum.
 
I handled the BM 760 and thought it was solid. MOF, I liked it a lot but wish the handle was a little thicker. The Dejavoo was too skinny for me. Save up for the 760. It's worth it.

Cannot get any cheaper than this, if you want decent knife, which would last.

I have the original Green handled Lum. One of my Favorite knives. Really no knife like it. besides the sprint run.
 
Shop around and get the real deal. You'll be much happier that you did.:thumbup:
