Lum Chinese owners sound off.

I've got a ZDP model, I'd be just as happy with VG-10 but the knife shop offered me a great deal on the ZDP one and I wanted to try out that steel so I bought it.

I carry it a lot, it's a fantastic summer time knife for urban use, the flat handle carries really well in light pants and the design is not agressive at all, so it doesn't raise any eyebrows at the office (not that I would care, since I'm the boss :-) ).

Well, I've been communicating with Spyderco warranty dept. and it looks like my best bet is to have them send a couple of screws. I had to bend the clip back into shape and I'm still unsure whether the screw holes in the handle stripped or not. The best I can tell, one of the screws stripped for sure. I've used some permanent lock-tite on the other screws.
The only thing I can think of is that my cell phone got between the knife and the outside part of my pocket. It seems like a freak occurrence though because I always carry my phone and knife in this pocket (last 7-8 years).

Charlynn from Spyderco mailed a few screws to me so from what I can tell I just had one stripped screw and a slightly bent clip. Hopefully I can bend the clip back and use some lock-tite on the screws and live happily ever after. Thanks Charlynn!
