Mayonized Large Regular CRK Sebenza

Blade Length: 3.5”
Handle length: 4.75”
Blade material: S30V

Nothing that Tom Mayo does is usual and this knife shows it. The handle slabs have been "holed," bead blasted, and anodized. Blade flats are satin finished, a S30V logo etched, and sports the typical Mayo scary sharp edge. He also added a set of stepped thumb studs (not CRK type). To make opening the knife with the left hand, Tom relieved the left slab slightly. The knife also has the Mayo smooth up and relube.
The knife was born on 26 Aug 2002 and was refurbished/customized (reborn) by Tom Mayo in Oct or Nov 2002.

Sold to neilaston - pending funds

Large Plain Sebenza

Blade length: 3.5”
Handle length: 4.75”
Blade material: BG-42

The blade spine (tip area) was reduced, approx. 1/8", to give it more of a drop point look. The blade was originally stone-washed, but has been polished. The blade work was accomplished by a knife maker in my area. I watched the entire process and the blade was not subjected to temperatures that would effect the heat treatment. The maker was overly cautious in working the blade. In fact, he used his lower lip against the blade to gauge the blade temp. :D

The knife sat idle until I sent it to Matt Cuccharia - to have the knife finished (rounded the edges of the scales and bead blasted the scales and clip).

The original birth on this Sebbie was 17 Jun 98. Blade work was accomplished in Dec 03 and Matt's work in Mar 04.

The knife has not been carried or used since the refurb began and has dual thumbstuds.

I will even include a custom made sheath made by G2.

SOLD TO DBH - pending funds

All knives are new (never carried, never used, etc. . . . .) unless otherwise stated and have resided behind glass since purchase.

If the knife came with something (i.e., boxes, tubes, pouches, sheath and paperwork) ~ I have it and will be shipped with the knife.

Price includes shipping, insurance and delivery confirmation to the lower 48 states.

Payment: USPS money order

No trade offers please.
