Lum Tanto?

Sorry if this has been covered already. I just joined today.

Is spyderco goin to re-do the Lum Tanto? In my opinion one of the nicest tanto designs to date and by far my favorite Lum design.

I have ordered the chinese folder for my self and a customer already but I'm kicking my self for not getting the Lum Tanto 8 years ago. I need one!

FYI I am a store manager at a Cutlery Store and I've worked here for 9 years (being only 28 now) I love my job. The first couple of years I dislike spyderco. Then I owned one. I had an electrician drop off a delica2 pe(aus 8 steel) he connected a circuit with and shocked to nicks into the blade. apparently he thought I could not fix it cause 7 yrs latter I still have not heard from him. Needless to say I abused the knife since it was free and To my surpriss it was awesome. Now all my employees own a spyderco or byrd(for the newbs who can't afford the spydies) and My edc is a Caly 3 with the cf a zdp clad blade.
 
i dont think a new one is planned....it has been like 3 years in the work for the chinese lum to finally come out...if you like the tanto i say bid on one on ebay or watch here for someone selling one.
 
Sal made a statement recently that Mrs. Lum gave him permission to make more of Bob's designs in the future. I have the feeling there will be more but it most likely will be a while before we see another Spyderco Lum.

I'm hoping for a VG-10 fixed blade tanto and the Lum Chinese done in the "small" version.
 
I would love to see Sprint Lum Tanto, fixed, folder, or even better both.

Wow - the fixed blade Lum Tanto is my all-time favorite Spyderco. I had heard when Mr. Lum signed with Benchmade there would be no more Spyderco Lums. I would buy multiple VG-10 FB Lums.
 
I think any of Bob Lum's designs as made by spyderco would be well received!
I for one would buy at least one of each!

I would love another Lum tanto. I was one of the guys pushing for a new Lum chinese folder 3 years ago and I finally have it. I will gladly buy another Lum tanto folder and keep it next to the one I have now.
