Luminox Field Watch:
This is a Luminox Atacama Field Watch model 1924. I can find a lot of the 1920 series on the internet but most have straps and are not stainless steel, this one seems to be pretty rare.
It has a sapphire crystal, 24mm bracelet, quartz movement. The case is very clean, just a couple of light scratches on the left side. I can't find any defects in the crystal. The bracelet is in good shape but has normal desk diver marks around the bottom. The bracelet is sized to fit about 7 3/8" wrist and there is one spare link included. The watch runs well and has a new battery. This is a substantial watch- 45mm case without crown and 24mm wide bracelet. I like Luminox and I like this watch but it is a bit too heavy for me.
Price is $250 $300 including paypal fees and shipping to 48 states. US sales only. All rights reserved.
Sandoz sub: *** SOLD ***
Does anybody remember these? They used to be fairly popular. This is from Sandoz Hong Kong, there was also Sandoz Singapore. I've had this sub homage for a long time. It has an ETA 2836 movement, very similar to the ETA 2824. I checked this watch a few days ago and it ran 30 sec slow over 24 hours. The watch head is very close dimensionally to my old Rolex Sub. It has a nice oyster bracelet but it is thinner than the Rolex bracelet. The dial and bezel insert are black, the applied markers are a very light bluegreen tint. The bracelet is sized for just over a 7" wrist and it comes with 3 extra links.
The case has light scratches on the sides, and a ding in the upper right lug that should be visible in the photo. There are some light scratches in the bezel insert but not through the coating. I think this has a mineral glass crystal, under a magnifier I can find some very small scratches in the crystal. The bracelet has some desk diver marks and some light scratches. I would rate this at about Timezone 80%.
Price is SOLD ($110) including paypal fees and shipping to 48 states. US sales only. All rights reserved.
Steinhart Ocean Black 42mm DLC
This is the DLC-coated Steinhart Ocean with ETA 2824 movement, first generation. I bought this one right after they came out. I wear it in my rotation about30 days a year. I did not wear it on the original bracelet so the bracelet isin like new condition with all of the original spare links. I wore the watchon a ZULU strap (not included). The watch head is in very good condition withno major defects and no problems with the DLC coating that I could find. The case back is in good condition- it looks clean to me despite being worn on aZULU strap. I timed it over a 24 hour period at +2 sec.
I'll rate the watch head at 95% or better.
