Luminox Watch Question

Though i stand by what i said, and i truly did experience the QC issues i outlined earlier, it should be noted, and i think i did mention, that i am a perfectionist, and many flaws that I notice, wont be noticed by the average user, still, i cannot tolerate the flaws i found, especially when i never see similar flaws on cheaper Seiko Divers watches. Any of you that have a Luminox handy, do me a favor, shake the watch a bit and watch the minute hand closely as you do it, and tell me if it moves. Also, does your second hand, as it "hacks" around the dial, line up perfectly with the markers it is hitting? If the answer to these questions is no, and yes respectively, your experience is different than mine. I believe i have a very good eye for quality, and believe me, i WANTED to like the Luminox watches, but the flaws i mentioned were there, every time, and i just cant justify owning one, when there are better watches out there at lower prices.

I've owned my Luminox 3001 (basic dive watch) for about 3 weeks or so and I've really been pleased with mine. I shook mine up and neither the minute or hour hand moved at all. The second hand occasionally does not line up with the face but to me thats a pretty minor offense. I just have to keep watch so that no hands fall off:eek:

I bought a Luminox in 2001 F117 Stealth model and still have it, I love it and only had the battery changed so far. Never a problem, I've worn it diving and no water issues, pretty tough watch. I think they have come a long way since early 2000. Lots of different models to choose from.

I have a Luminox, had it long enough for the tritium vials to have gone out. Always trouble free, reliable and accurate. Got my money's worth. Now have a Marathon and am very happy with it.
