LURQUIN HURAK .....just one more :)

Great stuff guys

In a sea of knives the Hurak certainly stands out

What I really like about it is that it does such a good job in so many areas

If your looking for a well designed small fighter .... Check

If your looking for a interesting hunter ..... Check

If your looking for a good bush craft knife ..... Check

This knife is a serious contender to be the knife I carry to South America to float down the Amazon with in a few months :)

I'm not a collector of knives, I'm a maker. Sam is one of the very few out there I'd like to own someday. I like everything he does.

Thanks Joe,
Great thread and video. There is a lot to love about those Huraks, An excellent looking knife! Love the style of it.

Another great acquisition Joe! A back up or two if a favorite knife is always a good thing!

I have a few ideas about some future knives from Sam the Man!

Regards Jeff

Joe, I will post later. I was able to snag an ironwood with Maragin steel version (Thanks Jeff) that is just sweet. You are not kidding when you say "Simple put its a big little knife". Until it is hand you really can tell how substantial it is.

Your welcome Greg! I knew that knife was going to a good home with you.

Jeff

Any estimates as to how many Huraks Sam has made?

Good question, Kevin. I would say a fairly large number. He has mentioned several times of Huraks made for several military and police friends. Here is a photo he shared of a European project he did from a year or two ago. Great designs lead to high demand.

Now I REALLY need one! Awesome pics everyone!

Great acquisition, Joe! I love the Hurak. My favorite 'small' fixed blade design for all the reasons you mentioned.

Here is mine. I placed an order for Sam to deliver at Blade in 2012, before I had actually met him. He told me in April that year that it was finished and he was mailing it to Coop for some of his magic. Coop sent it on to me in May. Of course it went to Paul after the Blade Show.

Thanks for sharing yours. That Maragin steel should handle all you can give it.
