Gentlemen:

I am an admirer of the work done by Belgian bladesmith Samuel Lurquin - this is my interpretation of one of his hunters in 1095 and Desert Ironwood burl. The hollow ground blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a vivid hamon line. The flats are hand rubbed to 600 grit - unsharpened swedge. The blade is set in Exhibition Grade Desert Ironwood burl with G-Flex and a stainless pin. Yellow/black G-10 spacers. The guard was machined .005" undersized, driven on the tang then soldered. Thumb serrations on the spine. RH high ride sheath. This knife is very light in the hand and has a great feel. I hope you like it! The thumb serrations were hand checkered using a checkering file
