Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Lurquin style utility/hunter in Exhibition Grade Ringed Gidgee/1075. The flat ground blade was hand rubbed to 1200 grit and etched to reveal a vivid hamon. The clip is hollow ground and almost sharp - I can sharpen it at the buyer's request. The Ringed Gidgee handle has extremely tight figure and is a beautiful oxblood color.....nice stuff. The tang extends 2/3 of the way into the handle and is set with G/flex marine grade epoxy and a 1/16" diameter stainless pin. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $475 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. Thanks for viewing and your comments are welcome.

V/R,

Hi Doug:

Thanks for the feedback - yep, this one has a LOT of labor in it. I thought I'd never get the handle done with all the hand filing. :)

Very Nicely Done Tim, Lurquin is one of those exceptional Bladesmiths and this is a Very!!!!! good rendition of his work. I like it.

Thanks Alan - good hearing from you. Yep, Lurquin is hot right now - awhile back he gave me permission to make renditions of his style, he was very gracious. I had a heck of a time with the handle, but it turned out nicely.
