I am very excited about this piece

This is a one off special knife done for me by my good friend Sam

It is a scaled down Tsavo with SAMs newest handle style

From Sam :


I have tested the blade of your knife
10 strokes flat on the anvil starting thier front of the blade
this produces extreme vibrations that can crack a blade

and also to pass the elk test, hitting a dozen times with all my strength of a piece of heavy gauge momentum is really one of the best test I found for the massacre of over a blade

The knife will come In a similar shoulder rig as this one from Gustaaf

This knife means a lot to me

I have grown to greatly admire the man behind these masterpieces and I am proud to call him friend

There will not be a project done on this knife it is a one off

But ................. Come Blade I might have a suprise project with Sam to be announced :)

If this goes off it will be the first time a project knife will be made available from this much in demand maker here on these forums

Probably my favorite knife that I have seen from Sam.....congrats my brother.....

I know you will enjoy this....you might not enjoy maintaining the beautiful blade finish, though.;)

I have to do the big Wheeler fighting Bowie video first and that should be very soon

Waiting till it gets here and the weather to warm up so I can soak Tatami matts

I just finished a bunch of archery videos for Border Archery of Scotland and I did a Trad Tech Bow release

I never thought the videos would be so popular :)
