Lurquin Sub Hilt Tsavo Project For DESROSIERS (DONE PICS)

Okay I'm sorry Missinglink but this slot goes to Dave Ellis

Dave send me your info and I will forward on to Sam and please PayPal Adam

Thx

if he does not have to make all of them at once, i would rather have him make mine after his MS knives, or whenever is best suited for him. i hate working in time frames and would not want him to feel overburdened or not have full focus because of a schedule. he was the the first one i noticed going out of their way to help, sam seemed to start an avalanche with his generosity. i can wait :)
Just a quick note for you guys, don't forget Sam is testing for his MS stamp this June at blade.
He will need a little time to complete the 4 knives for this project on top of testing. When Sam says he gives his word
He will make it happen. Just food for thought.
Adam and Haley you guys know well as I do when Sam makes his mind up there is no changing it.
If you do try to talk him out of it. Good luck with that haaaaaaa
Thanks
Ryan

Way Cool Woodster 😊

Knowing Sam he will freight train this like everything he does .......he has the best work ethic I have ever seen

Wow Joe. These look fabulous!:)

My thanks again to you and Sam.

Adam, Haley and all of us here are so lucky to have friends like you.

Friends like Sam and You ....... I've done nothing

One question for all the lucky and generous owners of these blades

Originally Sam spoke of Iron Wood on these but he has some delicious Black Oak and could deliver these quicker because he has it on hand

Thoughts ?

looking good ! i would rather wait for the ironwood :) not knowing what the oak looks like, black micarta would be my second choice if he has any.

Sam is Great, he's doing a great thing. Besides his generosity, his work ethic and ability is truly inspiring. Please keep the pics coming!! :D

whatever materials the owner(s) decide upon will be great! However, black oak always does a nice job of highlighting the work that goes into sculpted handles such as Sam's; just my 2cents :)

Sam, incredible generosity. This site and the people here never fail to amaze me in so many nice ways. Thanks for posting Joe.

Sam if your watching this seems like ironwood :)

Sam truly as I put it before is a freight train

I'm official nick naming him FREIGHT TRAIN or FT

I also want him to make me a knife called the FREIGHT TRAIN :)

Sam hope you are looking

Gorgeous damascus in those blades. These might be even better than the first batch!

As a side note, it seems to me that Sam's incredible generosity and immediate response is what really set the "help DesRosiers" train rolling in the first place. Thanks, Joe, for keeping the story updated.

Sam is The MAN!!!

If it was me(it ain't:() I would go with the bog oak, but people know what they want, can't blame them for that!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I initially told Sam he could do mine last if he wanted to. So, I am not in a hurry, just happy to have my name on one. But, I do think I would like the Oak. Especially if it is delicious! :)

One Black Oak here, Joe.

Thanks again to Joe, organizer-supreme, and especially Sam for tackling this to help true friends. We all know how big FT's heart is.
