Lyle's Stories!!

I had a similar sort of experience while working on my mining degree at West Virginia University. One night we had a "get together" and an old boxer showed up. He hung out all night and the next day. He left us the following evening. For about a month, he be at our door in the morning and hang out all day. With 4 roomates, someone was always home. He'd hang on our couch all day and then head home before dinner. It got to where he became one of the Wiles Ave Gang.
Gr8 stories Lyle. I still spend quite a bit of time in the mountain state. Most of my buddies from school are down in Logan, Boone and Raleigh Counties.

A couple more!!

The more stories I wrote, the longer they became. It was a lot of fun rehearsing and sharing those memories.

I thought the last story was a good finisher, but it's only in the SFOs of mine.We need some pictures of knives in this thread.

Thanks Lyle!!!

Lyle...didn't realize you made different stories for the different knives. I sure did enjoy reading them and can relate as I am your age...lol.

I have one of the stories from the recent run...would it be ok to revive this thread and post the new ones? I think it would be really cool to keep them all together in this great thread. I'm sure we could get them together pretty quick.
Thank you sir.

Keeping this thread alive is a good idea I think. I don't have any of the knives, but really liking the stories. I grew up in Dickenson and Russell counties in Virginia, about 50 miles in a straight line south of Wayne county Wva, but due to the "straightness" of the roads there its almost a 3 hour drive, lol. These stories reminds me of back home;)
