Lynch Subhilt

Tad made this knife for me and sent some photo's last week as soon as I saw it I was blown away, I think everthing that could be said about it has been said in the posts above.

It is not often one see's something new in knife making but the subhilt really is some original thinking. I would like to bet there are a lot of knife makers out there now saying to themselves "Why did'nt I think of that"

A really top job done by Tad and a knife I will treasure in my collection. As Tad said Paul Long will be collecting it from him after the show at Little Rock and working his magic with it's clothes!!!

Thanks, guys. I appreciate it.
Rick, I hope you enjoy it and I look forward to seeing the sheath as well.

A recent day at my shop Tad let me have some sneak preview info on this new subhilt design. These days when you think you've seen it all...it takes something really outside the box to impress me. Needless to say my jaw dropped when I saw this. What an incredible, innovative design that keeps you from sawing up that nice peice of stag or ivory. This had it's tricky machining and fit up elements involved according to Tad, so it wasn't an easy project. Congrats Tad, for offering a new design to the knife world and to the new owner. If you lay that knife down in the fighter award category at the Arkansas show it's got my vote for Best Fighter!
