Lynn Thompson Tactical

You sure that’s the right video?

Does he have a new website set up yet? I googled "Lynn Thompson Tactical Knives" and have only found a youtube channel and a bunch of dealers of Cold Steel products, but nothing directly from him.

Lynn's old, but new YouTube, and the Culbertson boys, who he's taken under his wing.

The general talk from most of the people that stopped by, is that most items were upgraded LT Cold Steel designs. Very close, but upgraded.

Thanks for posting. Lynn had his own booth at Bladeshow to display all the knives he will be selling. They were not selling any at the show and said they’ll be selling them on his website and maybe dealers but I cannot remember when they said they’ll start selling, maybe a month or so. They said everything will be in AUS8 or 10. Probably about 30 different fixed blades to choose from and some really cool blades were on display. I should’ve taken pictures for everyone to see.

Curious what the weight minimum is to work for a LT company. Lynn's a big dude, Demko's big, the dude in this video is big

"If your big 3--bench, squat deadlift-- isn't at least equal to the weight limit of a Triad lock, you're not right for the company."

I would have liked to seen more than the two models featured but it's a start... at the 43:05 mark.
Just from those two in the video , if GSM takes issue , I think they'd have a reasonable case . Sorry to say .

Maybe handling side by side , with the old models , differences would be more obvious .

Hope Lynn has got something a lot more dramatically different from the old Cold Steel lineup, to offer . 🙏

Call me crazy, but I'd always hoped for a "SRK plus" model....

An SRK with a 7 inch blade and a small metal guard [instead of the rubber protrusion on the handle] - I love my SRK, and it's always been the fixed blade I reach for before any other, but that would put it over the top.

That's the Hissatsu5 guy. Nice to see his YT channel has apparantly paid off for him. He seems to geniunely love blades. I'll take him over the guitargods  guy anyday.

But he needs to work on his spokesman banter, imho. Saying every blade is a "beast" or "monster" is beyond worn smooth.

I like the tanto and kukri, though considering I already have the Magnum XII in both 3V and SM it won't be a high priority.

It is interesting that he brought back a more obscure knife, the Corsican.

Pretty cool stuff but i dont really have much use for a 12" tanto or tactical Kukri, those others in the backround seems like Ti lites w different holes in the handles.

For me , at least , the supersized tanto and kukri are not "tactical practical" at all .

More fantasy than useful . Much prefer the ones I already own .

Unless I totally lose my freaking mind , I'm never going to agree to a "duel" of any kind ...but especially not with edged weapons !

"Tactical " , for me , means total war / survival . Not an artificial , arranged, fake fight with rules .

Great to see Lynn back , but hope he's got more practical things in the pipeline . 🤷‍♂️
