I had a GF who liked to skinny dip at Switzer. Thank god it was not that well known 30 years ago. There's another one back there; only really nice on wet years. Used to park where Lincoln ended and walk up. Looking at the sat. pic. things have changed. If I can get ahold of one of the guys I ran around with he may know; It's been a long time and I've covered a lot of country since then.
so you can just head up that trail, find a place, and set up camp for the night? I am always scared in California that I'm going to get some $600 ticket for lighting a fire or camping where I'm not supposed to.

If you want to go, I will be glad to show you around. It is a wild place and I know it pretty well. I almost died there a few years back, but walked out. My cousin suffered hypothermia and I had to drag him out. Besides that, it is a ruggedly beautiful place.
