This is the first custom to leave my shop in almost three years.

M.A.U. Modernized Asian Utility.

11" OAL
5.75" Blade

Blade steel is 0.125" 01 with traditional Yakiba clay packed hardening. Triple tempered with 12hr liquid nitrogen cryo cycle. Hand rubbed finish with acid etch to show hamon (temper line).

Handle is chemically sealed silk wrap over burgundy stingray skin.

Sheath is lined with full grain leather and covered in black shark skin. Shark skin is treated with UV filter and is water resistant. Leather is sealed but left natural tan.
