I finished this up a few weeks ago, with the intention of proving a point with it (no pun intended!) - and prove it I did!

In response to the threat of the legality of damn near every folding knife own (see this thread if you want more info) I decided I was going to come up with something light, fast, and BIG that would be possible to carry - every day - and go completely unnoticed. I figured, if carrying a knife is going to cause me to break the law, I was going to be a civil disobedient in a significant manner.

...so I carried this pig for two days at my day job. Ten hours a day, wearing my standard summer attire of a pair of khaki shorts and a T-shirt, I worked the floor of the retail establishment where I am employed - with this 8-1/4" long bladed knife.

Made of 1/4" thick S30v, and heat treated by Paul Bos, it was double hollow ground on an 8" wheel and thinned to 7/32" to eek a bit more weight off of it without sacrificing too much beef.. It's ground thin, as I was looking to make it light and easy to conceal, so this can't do double duty as a prybar. It feels incredibly fast in the hand. The handle is green canvas micarta, and blade and handle have been bead blasted for maximum grip and pretty cool styling, if I do say so myself!

Stainless steel pins complete the deal, and as mentioned before the blade is 8-1/4" with an overall length of 13-1/4".

The sheath is black leather (also made by me), and features a stud to provide a carry method. It rides low on a belt, or in my case right along my side down the inside of my pant leg, and as mentioned before went totally unnoticed unless I pointed it out to someone.

Price is $SOLD including UPS ground shipping to anywhere in the continental US. I will accept money orders, or payment via Paypal.
Thanks for looking!
