Hello guys.
I was able to do something more in this short month. You will say whether it was worth.

Blade – 155 layers Damascus steel hand forged of 80CrV2 /L2/ and 75Ni8. Differentially heat treated with clay. 58 – 60 HRC after tempering.
Handle – Stabilized poplar burl and ash wood treated with hot steam under high pressure. Not stained.
Inlay – bronze and copper.

Guard – bronze.

The sheath made of 3.5 - 4 mm. cow leather my friend George Petkov.

Mikeku825, mk doesn't make it easy on us here. I'm glad to see when others are able to get his knives but I'm also heartbroken at times. Regardless I wish you luck.

I came to this site recently and registered, almost exclusively, to make contact and own some of MK's knives. I thought I'd start with one, and that would be enough. I've since found that MK forges and finishes with his own unique inspired magic, and that one knife will never be enough. There are others like me.

So....It's a bit of a contest here. Doubledown is winning by far. And I'm very happy for him. But I try to keep a keen eye at particular times in the day and the week. Like searching for a lost treasure, the quest may be long, but the results.... rewarding. Best to you. Keep at it.
