Hello guys.
These days I had a lot of fun with this fat little buddy. At first I wanted to keep it for myself, but even I lately did not manage to cut with more than one knife at the same time.
Here are its data:
Blade –168 layers Damascus steel hand forged of 52100 and 75Ni8. Differentially heat treated with clay. 59 – 61 HRC after tempering.
Handle – Top side-stabilized poplar burl treated with high-pressure steam. Not stained. Bottom side - simply stabilized poplar. Not stained.
Guard – Bronze.
Separator – Bronze.
Inlays – Bronze.
The sheath made of 3 – 3.5 mm. cow leather my friend George Petkov.
