This spring I was on holiday in Greece. I tried to find an interesting olive tree, but they didn't offer one anywhere. Finally I found a pile of dried olive roots in a warehouse ready for burning. I bought some. Approximately one car boot. On the border they were a little surprised by my luggage…. Well, I also have a fireplace right?
Here is the first piece.
Blade – 184 layers Damascus steel forged of high carbon tool steel 52100 and 75Ni8. Differentially heat treated. 59-61 HRC.
Handle – Two pieces of impregnated poplar burl and olive tree.
Guard– bronze.
Separators – Bronze.
The sheath made of 3.5 - 4 mm. cow leather my friend George Petkov.

The price is 230 $ including travel expenses with a tracking number and insurance.
