Hello guys.
Im just wondering, is there a market for some more serious things?......... Something like The Sting for example.
What do you think?
I wont start to narrate you the story of this weapon. And of course there is a story
Here I will only give you a few dry data:
Blade 470 x 41 x 7 mm. /18.5 x 1.6 x 0.28 inches/ 310 layers hand forged Damascus steel. For cutting edges I have laminated high carbon instrumental steel W1. /1. 1545/. It is differentially heat treated with thick coat of my special recipe clay. But there is one more delicate moment. Damascus is forged of not hardanable steels. This way the hard core is coated in soft metal. Just like Japanese do with their swords. Thats why I can permit myself to have 58 59 HRC after tempering on the cutting edge. The whole length is 670 mm. /26.4 in./
Handle acacia and braided cow leather. Unfortunately I cant knit up. All knits are made of my talented friend Lubomir Ivanoff.
Guard and pommel Damascus.
The sword is quite old. You can see on every metal part of it traces of Times nails. It have spent almost two centuries in a humid cave, before to be .
No. Any stories. Just data.
Scabbard smoked oak tree, Damascus and leather. Even overlay is Damascus steel.
The balance is just 3 fingers in front of the guard. Quite handy if you have to cut morlocs for more than half an hour.
That is all.
If you want a larger image, you can click on the photo.
The price is 1 600 $ including shipping.
