Hello guys.
Here's the “Golden tree”.
Blade – 584 layers Damascus steel hand forged of 80CrV2/L2/ and 75Ni8 /1.5634/ Hardness - 59 – 60 HRC after tempering. Differentially heat treated with clay.
Handle – impregnated rotten oak and ash wood treated with hot steam under high pressure. No coloring. Then flader of the wood is shown with a steel brush. Finally recesses are gold plated. Just do not expect to get rich on this gold.
Guard – hammered bronze.
Separator – bronze.
The sheath is made of 3.5 – 4 mm. cow leather.

I'll bet if you go through his "started threads" history, you'll find that "every once in a while" is exactly as often as he posts new knives.

The second he makes a wharncliffe or sheepsfoot knife is the second I buy one from him because I will carry and use the snot out of it. For now, I will admire from afar!
