M16 Carbon Fibre......flipper question

Does this very nice looking knife have a flipper on all models of the carbon fibre version ? It seems some are missing the flipper, and I have only seen the flipper on the large tanto. Hopefully they sell the spearpoint with the flipper, sounds like fun to play with

i have the m16-14 with the t-6061 handles mine is tanto point but i believe all the models were available with the flipper.
while i am not positive about the carbon fiber version, i would assume that all of them would have it as well. as far as fun goes the flipper is really neat to play with i flip it open every night and its kind of addictive, but if useing the thumbstud to open sometimes the flipper notch will bump the top of my index finger but thats about the only thing i see wrong with it. other than that for the money its one of the best knives i have.
 
Im not sure of the entire line of the CF M16's, but I did look at the small tanto and spearpoint just last week and neither one had the flipper.

I contacted CRK&T and asked if the flipper would be offered on the carbon fiber model. They told me there were no plans at this time. I tried to encourage them to do so because the flipper is one of the best features of this knife. Everyone that agrees should contact the company and let them know. Maybe we'd get our wish!!!

the carbon fibers don't have flippers, the g-10s do and the aluminums only the large tanto has it.

All versions of the Aluminum handled and the Zytel handled M16s come with the flipper.

When I designed the smaller carbon fiber models I felt the flipper would be more in the way than it was worth. Now that I see it, I think I was worng.

FWIW, the 02/12 and the 03/13 started without flippers but popular demand won out.
CRKT does listen.
 
Thanks for your replies, i just received confirmation from the company that none of the carbon fibre models have a flipper. I guess i still will get the carbon fibre, due to the better steel.

better start saving up! costs more over here in australia (crappy exchange rate!)
