How is the corrosion resistance of the K720? Will the handles need to be removed regularly to oil it and keep it from rusting?

This is simple tool steel with about 0,5% of chromium just enough to be hardened in oil
14% of melted Cr protects steel from rusting ( O2 misses some... )
Will cover patina after some time and will stay in that state..
Of course under scales will rust more but there will be only surface corrosion.
From time to time unscrew them and clean and oil.

After use clean and wipe the knife before putting it into the sheath.
Sheath should be dry and oiled also.
Will let you use the knife long...
