I made this knife for myself, but after using it for about a month I want something else to play with. The sheath shows some wear but is in very good shape. The knife was never belt carried just put in a pack and toted that way. I had Peters do the heat treat on this to 61 Rc. I used it to clear some shooting paths and some lines of sight for trail cameras. It found a lot of work in the kitchen processing meats and veggies and some carving points on sticks. If you are not familiar with M390 it is a very aggressive cutting steel. I took it in to the shop today for a clean up on the blade and a fine resharpen, it is hair whittling SHARP!!! Thanks for looking.

Specs:
.150" M390
11.875" OAL
7.125" Blade
1.5" wide at ricasso
FFG to a thin cutting edge
Natural Linen Micarta scales over Toxic Green Liners with a Black pinstripe
Aluminum pins and tube
Comes with a hand sewn leather sheath by maker

This knife was ground thinner to excel at slicing and cutting tasks. It will be able to withstand some light chopping and battoning, but it is not meant to be your wood processor.

Seems like a great deal for m390, but that's a lot of blade to be using to butcher a deer. Maybe I need to start hunting crittes bigger and buy it?

This knife can do so much more than butcher a deer and the M390 is awesome.
