Only a few more days now! They produced this batch much faster than expected. My s30v will be so jealous.

Dude......I need some CF/M390 action in my life!! After picking up a Para2 in M390.....I'm hooked on the steel. I didn't get in early enough on Rogers' list, but hopefully I can score one when they hit the forum. If anyone has an extra they want to part with at what they paid.......let me know.
 
John, since you have that new M390 version to play with, I would gladly relieve you of the S90V variant. ;)
 
I didn't get in until nov so I'm going to be be waiting for awhile unfortunately. The cf texture looks really nice. Can't wait...;)
 
Hey, I'm ok with that...wait :eek: ...not! :D Seriously, though, I find I leave the S90V behind because they've become so irrationally valuable. I'm hoping to avoid that with the M390. I really love old C36. :thumbup:

Here's a quick unboxing/first look video. I'm not happy with the quality of the video, but it is not too bad. This was done with a phone, and next time I'll go back to a camcorder (or figure out how to use the phone's videocam better).

W00t! Just got mine. Both were perfect as far as blade centering and grind (if if those types of things matter to you). Happy day.
 
I havent had a chance to verify yet, but the edge bevel seems to be at a more acute angle than 30° inclusive. Do you think spyderco took into account the abrasion resistance of m390 and sharpened them a little steeper for the benefit of the user or is that just the hand sharpened nature?
