M4 Military pictures

Looks great, thanks for sharing. I agree that some CF would be a good addition to an already fine knife.

is it normal for the blade to be grinded back that far from the factory? i got a m4 millie also and this is my first spyderco so it could be normal. if u look at where the edge starts at the bottom they took off a lot of metal. like i said it is prob normal i'm just being paranoid mine looks the same

and does any1 know who makes those custom low ride clips?
i also want cf scales for this knife.

The custom titanium low rider clips that you see around here frequently are made by STR. He is a member here and has a sub forum in the Makers section. You can go there and ask him what you would like to know. I have one of his clips on my JYD II and its great.

As for a CF scale, there are many members here that can and will do that for you. Barry H, The Sun and Peter R to name a few.

Those are great pics..... its a thing of speed and beauty. I really like that the clip is plain steel. Its a shame these weren't numbered, come to think of it.

What becomes immediately apparent when you put it next to the Hogue/Elishewitz is the simplicity of the Millie design. Pure form follows function, a proper tool, made to be used.

Try STR from one of the subforums. He unfortunately does not make CF scales for Millies I don't think but no harm in asking. You do not have to send in your knife to get his clips, it is a standard design.

This is a great and accurate assessment IMHO.

I got mine today, thing of beauty. Better than most customs I have. second sharpest out of the box I've gotten, first waa a Caly 3 zdp. Impressive kn ife and an instant classic.

Would it be possible to put a G10 scale from a regular Military on a regular Titanium Military? The non locking side of course. It seems to me like it would work, i mean I've done it with the carbon fiber sage and the Titanium sage.

Mine came today as well. It's as close to perfection as a production knife can be. :D

I had enough sunshine this morning to take 5 pictures before it clouded up again. Here's two.
