where could one get his hands on such a knife?
The M4 Millie didn't seem to cut the tire as cleanly as the S90V Millie. Is my perception wrong, or is that fair to say? The S90V just seemed to glide right through it in your video. Did the S90V have a finer edge?
On an unrelated note, my first Military is on it's way to me. It's plainjane S30V, but I got it for a steal. I'm hoping it lives up to the hype.
^^I'd say it has to depend on the sharpening, not the steel. The steel would come more into play for edge holding.
For instance my Tenacious sliced through a tire like butter. Until it got halfway around and the edge turned into a butter knife![]()
I might be wrong here, but I thought So-Lo sharpened the S90V Millie. I can't see the steel making that much of a difference (at this level of steel technology) all other things being equal.
Would have been a great video but the white sandals totally killed it for me.![]()
Yes, that was the factory edge on the M4, the S90v was reprofiled and polished. When I do reprofile the M4 I am going to cut the other side of that big ol' mud tire
I'll link it here when I upload the new video![]()
But they go so nice with my White Oakleys :foot:
Srsly, though... They do

These tire videos are why I bought a Millie. Thanks So-Lo:thumbup:
You've got style.![]()
