MAC V SOG and the Vietnam Tomahawk....

....spoke to an MAC V SOG operator today who carried the Vietnam Tomahawk during his two tours....thanks to Frank Butterworth finding the unit patch, we were inspired to do this pic, with the "Blade Show" shot blasted head finish, as Peter LaGana offered his first Vietnam Tomahawks in this finish.....

...just thought it was cool and a reminder for those who served and paid the price.

My buddy from MACV/SOG did not use or was not issued the hawk, however, I was able to get him an EK Commando with the MACV/SOG crest engraved on the blade and s/n 35 for his ops group 35...a nice presentation piece!
