Mace in blade

Spangler, admit the fact that you plotted and planned all weekend to find a way to see me naked.

... at least I've never slept with Mace.:barf::barf::barf::D

All right....calm down all of ya's! There are other people who might be looking at this thread and wonder what kind of crowd I hang out with.
Let me just reasure you Mike never "sleeps" he just balls up and shivers!
Naked ten pound sticks and Chechen death squads....you guys are crazy!
I like that.;)
Mace

The Chechen death squads are nothing compared to anvil thieves or the thought of Burt Foster sneaking up on you while you try and enjoy your bowl of bacon!

...you know, did they ever catch those anvil thieves? Must be some pretty big guys, stealing a 200lb. anvil from right under your nose.

Back to the topic at hand!

This month's Blade actually started to make me NOT regret my subscription. Of late, there have been a lot of really ridiculous articles written by (unfortunately) prominent makers that have kept me debating as to whether or not I should be responding about how deductive reasoning can be twisted all out of shape and context to support an absurd conclusion, if that is the desire of the author. So far, I've thought better of it but MAN! is it frustrating!
Dan Farr's article on steel selection was fantastic, the "Collectors' Choice" piece (the topic of this particular thread) was great, plenty of juicy little tidbits to peruse and enjoy, and not too much fluff to mislead or misinform. I thought Mike Haskew's article on pricing was pretty well thought-out, too, and the Tom Mayo interview was awesome!

There are so many interesting people in this realm... it's great to see the magazine starting to come to some semblance of balance!

Congrats again to Mace, Keith, Mike Burch, and all the rest that were given some well-deserved ink!

I don't know about all this nekkie talk, but congrats! :D

Saw a Tom Krien bird and trout in the article on tools steels. Tom is a man I am very glad to have met in this forum.
