MacGyver 2016

The knife or knives the new MacGyver uses almost seem out of place for the situation on the last show. Kind of like bringing a knife to a gun fight. But the show was okay overall. The chemistry may improve.

Has anyone seen the most recent episode titled "Wrench"? I was scratching my head because Mac was actually using a one hand lockblade instead of a SAK towards the beginning of the episode. I was then compelled to try and identify the knife he was using, but haven't been able to so far. It's got black handles, a tip down deep carry pocket clip, and thumb studs. You get a brief close-up of the the blade which is plain edge and appears to be hollow ground, I can almost make out the first two letters of the blade marking which look like Fe or Pe but it's too blurry to tell for sure. Almost looks like a Benchmade design to me, but I'd love to find out if anyone could identify it.

...and it seemed to deploy like an auto. That part happened pretty fast - had to disarm an explosive after all. I couldn't identify it either - as you can probably tell. :)

Presumably because he's neutralizing a bomb, and there's no SAK with a ceramic blade.

If I had to guess, I'd go with a Böker Plus Anti-MC. Not quite enough screen time to say for sure.

Could be a Schrade or Boker Plus or Timberline ceramic blade - they all look basically the same to me.
