Here's one - using the pliers on a Vic SAK to pull out picture hanger nails in drywall. Bonus points: using the parcel hook on Vic SAKs for that purpose!
One time the muffler hanger broke on our car as my wife and I went over some railroad tracks and the whole exhaust was dragging. I got out and went walking along the track looking for something to tie it back up (there's always junk along train tracks). I found part of an old jumper cable, cut the clamp off with a LM Supertool, and used it to hold the exhaust pipe in position for the ten mile ride home. My wife was pretty impressed.
