Machax and Tweener New Video from Equip 2 Endure!

Thanks for the video, it's appreciated. I will wait patiently for the Tweeners no matter how long it takes. And Micarta is how I'll roll.

Me liking the Tweener. I remember seeing a whole lot of blade-styles when the first proto batch was made. Is the one in the video, the one thats going to be produced? Or are there going to be several styles to choose from?

And did Ethan say it was 0.165 inches thick? I didnt quite catch it in the vid...thousands-something thick :confused: (i think in millimetres :D )

I was wondering about the same questions, although the one used in the vid was my favorite shape out of the protos I recall seeing. Kind of a miniaturized BK2 type of design. Hard to find anything to criticize about that design!

Yep, I do believe 0.165 inch is what he said. My handy-dandy conversion tool tells me that's 4.191 mm.

i had to watch the vid again. so looking forward to both of these knives in my hands!

just so I know, the BK1 and BK6 will be made over seas, but the Machax and Tweener will be made state side?
 
The thicknes is just a little over 4mm, or .165". The tweeners and the the Machax will be mades stateside, or I should say, are being made stateside as we speak out of 1095. Toooj's heat treat recipe.

There are 3 Tweeners and 1 Machax. The tweeners are the Camptweener, the Magnum Camp Tweener and the Clip Point Tweener.

Was this the Camptweener in the video?
 
That was the CampTweener in the vid, and all blade lengths are 4-4 1/2", if memory serves.

so the two knives Ethan just posted up look like the Magnum and the Drop point?

The camp tweener looks like a 1/3 size smaller than the 2

i'm getting really excited for these
