Machax - Cincinnati #20 vs Kabar 2012 Stamped

I always loved the History Channel...

Very cool, anyone else notice how Bladite makes his K's the exact same way they are in the BK&T logo Kind of like a Y or a V with a leg? Eh probably just me oh well.

He also puts a slash through his zeros (to differentiate them from "ohs") and a line through his "7's", like God and The Queen intended. European education, maybe?

I'm surprised you didn't mention the secondary grind on the 2012's. All mine (2012 roll) have it, but only the Warrior in your photo has one -- and its lots more radical. Even LESS metal now to help with the forward weight.

That's interesting that it doesn't chop as well K9. As I was looking at the diagram, I was thinking they should have retained the little extra belly of the original. Honestly, several production choppers need more belly, which is an odd dilemma nowadays:) The CS Gurkha comes to mind. The Machax is starting to grow on me, but the tiny belly/sweetspot has kept me from hitting the "BUY" botton so far. It is light and short for a chopper, but looks to have handiness in spades, which is a good thing. Thanks for the schooling Bladite!

oh, and i have other strange writing habits too ;)

secondary grind? do you mean the forward swedge? if so, i mentioned it... the Warrior is overall more slim too and very less choppery. more of a ... fighter nee pig sticker if you will, the Bacon Maker by Steve Johnson is much like that, as compared to his chopper.

interesting grinds and materials on the those old ones. veddy interesting.
