Machax is Dead... Long Live Machax! (oh and a GAW) *WINNER CHOSEN*

Good looking sheaths KJ; I'd like to try and make one myself one day if I have enough leather left.

Thanks for the generous GAW; here's a couple of pics of mine during my 2 most recent outings (one backcountry, one campground camping). Love the machax as a lightweight wood processor:

The Machax isn't dead. There just aren't any more being born. I'm seeing a lot of young and old Machax's taking on the world. I bet there are more of them out there just waiting to go into active duty.

Nice sheath work knifejunkie!
Sweet prize and thanks for your generosity!

Here's my submission...

I first met the Machax one fine spring evening in 2015.
It arrived along with a BK16.
They have become buddies and have been together ever since.

First "outing" with the 4, my daughter called dibs lol.

Link to the thread from that day...

These two hit it off immediately...

First blood...

Many of nights wood of all types and sizes have met with the BK4 then turned to ash.

The day after some campfire fun...

We've had some great adventures together.
Plenty of woods time and memories made.
Some camping last winter, great combo!

Posing with their new scales...

Then came the day which hangs heavy in the hearts of Machax lovers world around.
The beginning of the end,

The Ka-Bar clearance sale...

But wait!

One more chance to obtain a BK4...

I have been blessed to have gotten to know the Machax and will continue to make time and memories.
One day i hope to pass it along to they who may have little or no knowledge of such a great blade, and no access or ability to easily obtain one.

And finally...let us not forget, the BK4,
It shall be in our hearts forever,
And let not the woods become complacent,
Every tree, shrub, and sapling should continue to fear the mighty Machax!
Long live the Machax!
Amen

imho, the Camillus BK4 is not a Machax, but it's close

imho, the KaBar BK4 is definitely not a Machax. it's a KaBar BK4.

the Machax is a Blackjack era thing.

sorry Ethan :D

the old stuff in this design was the best. superior in ALL WAYS.

thicker is better. square spine. hammer like. Ethan had it right.

sorry KaBar.

North America Wood. HOOOOOO'AH.

heavier. choppier. period.

okay, i have an opinion. i know my trees.

Thanks for the awesome GAW opportunity. The Machax is also one of my favorites. Every time I use it I'm extremely satisfied.

Here are some pics of its outings.

Well people we have a winner! My old lady has spoken and Jonny1280 is the winner with this nice shot right here.

Jonny send me a PM with your address.

Wow!
I can't believe I won! Lol
There were some seriously cool pics in this thread.
Thank you very much KJ. This was a very generous GAW. I really appreciate the generosity!
I'll be honest, my beloved Machax is I believe my only Becker that still rides in the 'ol factory sheath.
I had one of Julio's spine sheaths on my RBK and I loved it! This will be a definite upgrade for my Machax.
Thanks again KJ and tell your wonderful wife thanks too!
PM incoming...

Congrats Johnny1280
Could you please send me my brute

Thanks Nuto!
Umm...sorry bud, I was never part of your Brute passaround.

Way to go Jonny.
Great pic.

Thanks man!
I thought there were a lot of great pics in this thread.
I really didn't think I had a chance...
I'm super stoked I won though!
This is gonna turn my Machax into the total package.
