  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Machax or bk9?

9 for me mainly bc i do not own a machax. i do not like kuri style blades either. feels funny with the weight forward unbalanced feel.. besides, i have a machete anyway

As a user said above me, the BK9 would be far easier for food prep and sharpen. The Machax looks fun as hell though, but it seems to be more of a hardcore tool than it is survival knife. Just my thoughts.

If you want the knife for general woodscraft, I'd say Machax, that's the ultimate woodsman's knife.

The BK9 is more versatile, and easier to sharpen.

I have both, and right now the Machax gets more use, except in the kitchen.
