Machax use and Ticks.

And there we have it. I was wondering how long it would take to get the Big House riled up. haha

my dad shot a brown snake about the same size as that in our backyard last year. we measured it and it came in at 9 feet long. wish i had taken a photo for evidence :(

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_mamba

'''The black mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis), also called the common black mamba or black-mouthed mamba,[4] is the longest venomous snake in Africa, averaging around 2.5 to 3.2 m (8.2 to 10 ft) in length, and sometimes growing to lengths of 4.45 m (14.6 ft).[5] It is named for the black colour of the inside of the mouth rather than the colour of its scales which varies from dull yellowish-green to a gun-metal grey. It is the fastest snake in the world, capable of moving at 4.32 to 5.4 metres per second (16–20 km/h, 10–12 mph).[6] It has a reputation for being aggressive and highly venomous and is among the world's most venomous land snakes based on LD50 on mice in a study.[7]'''

that's just what we need out there, a VERY fast, highly poisonous snake that LIKES to bite stuff. super!

Just read that myself and the snake in the pic sure looks longer than 14.6 ft.

Shotgun fodder for sure!

Great pics. Ticks do seem worse this year for some reason.
The winter was too warm to kill 'em all off over here. We have TONS.
Great pics and that is a HUGE freaking snake!
Oregon Fal'er- Dish soap works real well for me. Just dab some on the tick and it backs out of the skin so you can just brush it off.

The Machax looks great.
The ticks, not so much.

That's one reason why winter camping is great.

We've got lions and tigers. And to the WSW there's some bears. And some wolverines. Plenty of dangerous creatures, but none nearly as interesting as a 20' long black snake!

And the ticks are bad here in Michigan this year too. Must be the year of the tick.

I'm sure DaBears will take care of those pesky Lions this fall...

great pics! go red sox

Actually ticks are much easier to repel with 100% Deet, and much easier to spot if you are a fan of White Sox.

Yoooooouk!
:D
Sorry, man, had to do it.

No one who is a White Sox fan can be legit. However due to the Bears being first, I'll let it slide, this ONE time.
