Machax (What A Beautiful Blade)

IMG8075-XL.jpg

speaking of users, two are, one will not be. i'm fine with waiting for a production model, or five. plan on giving several of these away to people i know.

the WSK is quite a hitter. convexed. sweet.

the BK10 there is convexed too.

when i get a production KaBar Machax, it will get some belt convexing action too.

I got my sterile prototype at Blade. I have yet to take it to the woodshed and beat the snot out of it. I plan on making a Jungle bed with it, when I get the chance.

If anyone remembers the old Machax's, this one is SOOOOOOOO much better. :D

Moose

Maybe a project for the gathering?

Not to off topic too far. But tweeners too right? Ethan Becker has it perfect. I've been needing a smaller five inch blade. I sometimes wake up calling their names. It's caused friction between me and my 7.

I really want to punch all of you who own machax protos right in the babymaker.

Very nice piece. I am pissed at myself. I saw one once at a flea market. It was used and abused, but fixable. Passed it up though.

I seriously doubt that, Moose.

Doc

Now I want to punch Blackbilly in the babymaker too.

while you're punching people in the baby maker, all us machax guys will be cracking out your chilled brains for a snack :>

always wanting the freebies :)

go out back and pick up some beer cans and turn them in for money :> stop buying smokes. give the kids a little less spam in their beans and rice, only hit the hookers up every OTHER week for a while...

then you can save money!

buy Becker!

Doc

Its true, Doc. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. Even Ethan agrees. Alot of the technical aspect of making knives is apparent in the new "old" designs. Tweeked to work better.

Moose, I believe you wouldn't say it if you didn't think it was true. That doesn't mean I'll agree. :D

I'm not buying anymore knives - don't need them, can't afford them, but a new Machax might be the exception. We'll see.

Doc, considering your pedigree with the Machax, I'll make something happen. Perhaps compare the old and new? See which one works better?

I might even be able to arrange something sooner rather than later. :D

Waddayasay?:D

Moose

Yeah, if anyone can legitimately compare/contrast the old with the new, it's DOC.
He has one of the most used and loved early Machaxes I've ever seen.
