I have two Straight Back Machetes for sale. The red handled machete is a SBM1, 20" oal, 14" blade, 1.75" wide and 1/16" thick. The other one is a SBM2, same as SBM1, but a 2" wide blade for a little more mass.

Both machetes are made of ATS-34. I heat treat in my shop, and think I do a good job at it. I use an very unusual heat treat process and I am able to get a flexible blade that holds an edge and is still relatively easy to sharpen.

The SBMs come with a fitted Kydex scabbard.

Hi scaredsharp,

The SBM1 has the popular red handle wrap. If you would like another color, you can choose from the rope in the picture.

I don't have any good picts right now but the thicker wraps are mostly the same as yours. I'll get some good picts of the next ones. I also do some Japanese and Chinese wraps with thinner cord.
